Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear amber body with a dense off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma of toffee and earth. Flavour of tea, pine and sweet apricot. Thin body with a slick, slightly oily mouthfeel. Uncomplicated and pretty tasty.

Cask half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire on 1st Nov 2016. Straw blond with a white topping. Citrus and piney hops rule this dry finishing brew. Not really my thing: scored objectively.

Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Dark clear brown with a carbonation and a thin off-white head. Has light vanilla notes in both aroma and taste, with its strength fairly evident too. Has a smoothish texture.
