Cask at Ryrie's. Pours clear dark brown with s thin crema head. Aromas of chocolate, honeycomb, light roast. Taste is dry roast coffee, cocoa powder, caramel. Dry finish. Decent body.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a bright dark mahogany with short head. Aromas of dry caramel, raisins and bready malts. Flavors follow same but with drier more bitter malts more like bread crusts.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with short bubbly head. Aromas of nuts and toasted malts. Flavors of almost sour dark fruit, nuts, stale coffee and biter malts.

On cask at Ryries. Appearance - fairly clear and golden. Creamy white head. Nose - lemon, meadowsweet and apple. Taste - apple predominant, then lemon zest and some floral. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and quite a bitter finish. Overall - not bad.
