Bottled 33cl (Bier Tempel, vintage 2010)
Deep ruby color, huge cloudy beige head, lace. Aroma has licorice, plums and anise. Medium-bodied. Quite alcoholic brew. Sticky alcohol punch in the front, then hoppy bitterness, licorice with salty aftertaste, some spices and plums. Complex and intensive. Some similarities to Het Anker’s beers, but this is much stronger.

Cloudy brown beer. Rich and complex. Some sour notes but also malty chocolate. A vague underlying fruitiness. Touch of marmite. Dry malty finish. Hard to pin down but flavoursome and drinkable.

Bottle at Kerstbier Festival, Essen, Belgique, 19.12.10 A real lively beer, quite a gusher. Pours dark brown with beige head, soft carbonation in the mouth. Some spice and citrus with strangely a little bit of coffee. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottled@sayravai tasting. Deep ambery brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, spices, alcohol and stuff. First thing that came to mind was Gouden Carolus. Flavour is quite liquorice, some spices and mild wooden and alcoholic notes. Aroma is actually better than the flavour, which feels it’s still quite young. Still nice.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BB 10/2011)
Dark nut brown color, steady creamy beige head. Aroma has toffee, nuts, bready malts. Medium-bodied. Toffee, licorice, some hops, dark bread. Also some herbal notes, like drinking some kind of bitter (like Jägermeister) variant. Interesting enough.

Bottled. Pretty deep golden color verging on pastel. Thick head. Aroma of citrus, horse blanket and dust. Very refreshing flavor, well sour, but very balnced. Citrus. Perfect carbonation. Great.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of light tart notes mix with some bland Belgian ale is interesting though not as powerful as I was expecting considering some Girardin had been used to assemble this beer. Taste is also a very refreshing mix between some tart and sour notes with light green apples notes and some typical Belgian ale malt backbone. Body is fuller then average with limited filtration and great carbonation. Well mix overall with a refreshing taste though I was expecting a bit more from the lambic.

Pours a dark brown beer. Beige head. Smells fresh and sour. Full round mouthfeeling. Tastes of nuts, dried fruits and roasted malts without the roasted malts being to aggressive. Very pleasant and long lasting aftertaste.
