Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2014. Mid amber copper with a fleeting head. Aroma is toffee apple, stale musty caramel, flavour is somewhat stale toffee apple, dirt and apple, straw. Palate is medium light grainy, bit watery and thin. Not fussed on this one.

Cask at the Brewhouse; clear dark amber pour with a creamy white head, slight acidic aroma, taste has light fruit and a hint of biscuit.

GBBF Day 4. Cask. Clear deep amber beer. Small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Mild dark malts, trace of roast. Tangy dark fruits. Light dry finish. Okay.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Hazy red-brown color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly roasty, some bitter. Aroma reminds me of a used coffee filter. Average body and carbonation. Don’t really like it.

Cask - Burnt toast and twig. Deep clear mahogany with no head. Burnt toast and bitterness, not pleasant.

500ml bottle from Crafty Pint, Darlington. Clear golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, woody, hay, lemon. Taste is biscuity malt, straw, wood, blackcurrant, with light citrus and some bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry lingering woody bitter finish. OK.
