Bottle, batch 0 bottle 54. Color: Black, large frothy light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, Porter, coffee notes, subtle smoky notes. Taste: Roasted malt, quite some coffee, subtle smoke notes. Over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Just over medium body, just under average carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, dense white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, coriander notes, yeasty. Taste: Wheat malt, subtle coriander, yeast and orange zest. Light hints of peach Light to moderate sweet and bitter, light sour hints. Medium body, just under average carbonation. Dry-ish finish. Nice refreshing summer beer.

Bottle from 't Klaverblad Beerse. Color: Lightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Complex mix of seet, tart and bitter. Yeasty and salty hints. Taste: Again a quite complex mix of moderate sweet, tart and bitter. Salty hints and a bit yeasty. Fruity grapefruit notes. Somewhere in between Saison, witbier and Geuze. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Nice mix of beers from Bierstekers. My first beer from this brewery / blender, looking forward to try their other beers in my cellar.

Bottled. out of the 3 i bought , this is the only one thats not a gusher. Clear skunky aroma rises up even before pouring the beer. being in green bottles, the mistake might have happened in the retail chain of this, but given the fact they blend beers (often already bottled) it might have even been skunky beer to start with. The beer pours slightly hazed blonde, big white head, rather big bubbles. Scent shows even more skunk now, lactic tartness. clear fruity brett bouquet as well. Taste is sharp, strong tartness. The beer isn't alright though. Polyphenolic, plastic, skunk, ... Very sharp, overcarbonated. something went seriously warm in the fermentation, presumably way to warm. Is it the re-fermentation ( the blend) or the beer(s) itself ? that'll forever be a mistery. But at this price point, the quality you get here is just pittyfull. both others I had by them, prior to this, were gushers but at least nice to drink...

Mild gusher. Pours fairly clear blonde. Medium to medium big, stable pillowy white head. Scent is brett, somewhat fruity ( esters, but not banana ) mild citrus even. Recognizable lambic influence. Taste is woody, funky, brett, peach / citrus. mild BE style esters ( mild banana here) . Medium body. Very high carbo, but otherwise very nice.

Bottle. Batch 1. Big gusher allert. Lost a good amount of beer as well as some other items on the table, ruined by the liquid. Clear blonde, huge white head fading relatively fast. Seems like the beer simply refermented too much in the bottle. Scent is funky, mild wood, some esters as well. Taste is tart, nice Brett profile. malty, presenting itself as bread and full. mild lactic acid. No real acetic acid. Fine bitterness. High carbonation. Very decent. Shame for the gusher though, as well as it's price range - compared to other beers with similar taste profiles. The blender seems to buy the beers in retail before blending, which is an obvious explanation for the beers being more expensive, but it might be a problem in market share potential.
