Pours a clear orangey golden color topped with decent white head. Initially fruity and citrusy aroma which develops to a more caramely later on. The taste is slightly sweet with decent bitterness in the finish. Slight metallic feel in the aftertaste, but nothing too unpleasant. Very nice, extra smooth and drinkable.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark golden with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, little sweetness, wood, hops. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, vanilla, little wood, light alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish witjh some alcohol. 080914

On tap at the Bowl Inn, Almondsbury. Pale yellow colour with a tight white head, that lasts. Aroma is buttery, and the taste is light with malt. Served very cold, a bit to cold for me.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, few pale cream colour bubbles not being a head. Light dry palate with light fine carbonation. Dry malts. Whisper of sulphur. Insipid orange hops. Light dry finish. Meh.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry. Very low carbonation. Dry malts. Mildly bitter herbs and spices. Touch of orange marmalade. Dry bitter finish. Nice idea but it hasn’t quite come off and the condition is not good.
