Hazy golden color. The aroma is wonderful, it marries the character of the brett with a strong fruity, zesty component; it’s citrusy, and a bit trropical, pungent. The mouthfeel is very dry, but quite smooth thanks to the high carbonation; the flavor is zesty, citrusy, funky, and rather astringent in the final; plenty of grapefruit, qumquats, and hints of passion fruit.
Wonderful fruity sour.

Tap at Freshcraft. Hazy gold, flat. Acidy nose, stanky grapefruit, manure, vinegar, honey. Sour flavor. Vinegar, manure, too much on the deuce flavor. Amateurish.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color with no head. Powerful aroma, funky, very vinous, fruit, Chardonnay. Very dry mouthfeel, highly carbonated, full bodied; strong flavors, malt, wood, white wine, yeast. Salty. Juicy too, with good bitterness level; warming alcohol. A lot of character for this beer. Very good.

Black color, small beige head. Dark malt aroma.Dark malt flavor, a lot of chocolate, moderate sweetness; maybe it has traces of barrel, but not too strong. Drier in the final.
Good chocolate beer, I’m not sure it’s an expected Baltic Porter FWIW; too expensive though.

Pours a fizzy honey golden with no head. The musty barnyard aroma leaps out at you as soon as the bottle is open. Some sweet citrus, hay, and oak, too. Full bodied with a sharp but restrained carbonation level. Flavor has the musty barnyard notes followed by sweet citrus, lavender, proseco, and floral. Tart throughout. Ends rather dry. Definitely beat my expectations.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of cocoa nibs and chili upfront, with subtle bourbon barrels. Flavour is along the same lines, with cocoa and chili upfront, followed by subdued bourbon and booze. Rather earthy on the finish. Not overly complex, but it's alright. Good.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry chardonnay notes upfront, followed by Belgian yeast, some tropical stone fruits, and wild yeast. Flavour is complex and expressive, with lots of wild funky yeast upfront, along with stone fruits galore, and accentuated beautifully by the chardonnay barrels. Finishes oaky and somewhat boozy on the finish from the barrels. Excellent.
