375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small, quickly-dissipating white head. Nose brings out soft pillowy wheat, light brett, and a touch of spice from the rye. Flavour is very spicy and sharp, with lots of spicy rye, grainy cereal notes, and funky brett. Not exactly harmonious, with an aggressively sharp carbonation and intense spiciness on the finish. It's okay, and certainly unique, but rather messy and harsh.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy dark amber color, compact head. Some balsamic vinegar aroma and flavor, food body strength, round and smooth mouthfeel, lightly cheesy, yeasty, but it doesn’t disturb.
Good.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, clean, compact head. Moderately spicy, moderately sweet, soft mouthfeel, but like most American Saisons it has a quite strong vegetable character.
Not very good.

Capped and waxed bottle. Clear and pale Colo with thick foamy head. Aroma is moderate cuke. Soft Belgian biscuit, lightly sweet. Flavir has only light cuke and mostly an average Americanized Belgian ale. I guess I was expecting funk but it has none. I rated this just bc I like cuke beers. This wasn’t in my top tier.

12.7 Oz bottle. Porus a hazy amber with huge head. Aromas of breadfruit, mashed pineapple, limes, and toasted malts. A fruit bomb with flavors of sour tropical fruit, green berries, pommegranate and mangos, limes, and a little sweet malts,. If hops are present it’s the Ammarillo. Incredible. Though not an IPA by any means...

Bottle from Denman Wine and Spirits, Vancouver; waxed cap
Pitch black color; the compact brownish head reduces quickly. Immediately, an aroma of peppers, earthy; then some dark chocolate. Strong body, the mouthfeel is lean, the residual sweetness well controlled; dark chocolate flavor, a bit salty; I appreciate the lack of ashy roastiness, a bit less the presence of liquorice. Balanced, powerful.
Very good.

The menu didn’t tell me Free Will and McKenzie’s were in on this. Would have been nice to know, actually. Dark amber. Thin head. Aroma is woody. Taste is woody, balsamic. Tart, sweet accents. Quite good.

Gold. Sweet malts. Sticky, lightly spiced, not super complex. Disappointing.
