Tommyknocker Imperial Nut Brown Ale 9% Brewed with maple syrup it pours a deep brown with ruby highlights. Medium to full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and some boozy heat. The taste is super malty, caramel, nutty, molasses, maple. A solid beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Green chile/bell pepper and light malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet green bell pepper/chile, light biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Slight heat in finish. Okay - if you like the taste of peppers.

Bottle: Clear gold with small white head. Scent is sort of like an extra mild jalapeno juice....raw green pepper. Taste is pretty much the same....peppers, but no heat....very vegetal..... Not exactly appealing.

(Bottle, 0.355 - 2015 vintage - bottled Oct 12/15, at Punavuoren Ahven, 20160319) The beer poured clear and dark brown. Aroma had malts, caramel, molasses and vanilla. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, molasses, caramel, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A very sweet brew but surprisingly it did not bother me.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is of a slight spice. Nothing over the top or surprising for this brewer. Flavor is again a barely there spice with a very little malt presence. The was pretty poor. A boring brown ale with some spice thrown into it.
