Cask at GBBF 2013, Olympia, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Chocolate, dark fruit aroma. Tastes of chocolate, hint of coffee, dark fruit.

Bottle, 6.2%. Sweetish and caramelly aroma, lots of pine and grapefruit hops. Cloudy amber colour, sparkling. Good stable tan head. The flavour has some soft fruit along with the piney hoppiness. Mild hop bite. The bitterness does not seem high, but is nice and cleansing. Sweet enough to be satiating, and balanced nicely by the aroma and bitter hops. My kind of American IPA.

355 ml. bottle, poured in to a tulip. Hazy, amber colour with a golden tint. Small, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grapefruit, caramel, sweet fruits and toasted malts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with fruits and an earthy note. Decent American styled IPA.

Bottle. Pours clear golden amber with medium white head. Aroma is malt, lemon cough drops, flowers and yoghurt. Taste is initial light sweet and medium acrid then medium bitter and light acidic. Body is creamy with medium carbonation. Finish is long and smooth with notes of bubble gum, orange, watermelon and yoghurt.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty notes, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, orange, light grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, orange, light malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130629]
