Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Hazy, yellow pour with a nice, white head. Fruity, slightly dusty, peppery, citrusy nose with some spicyness. Oranges, some sweetness, pale malt and spicy notes in the flavor. Medium body. The finish is pleasant, with fruityness and a little fruit-like acidity. A pleasant, quenching, quaffable beer. Really enjoyable lager. (071005)

Bottle, thanks to Papsoe for sharing. Clear, almost golden pour, and a minimal white head. Looks hazy in the bottle. Lemongrass dominates the aroma and flavor, but it is also fruity, slighlty soapy and with pale malt. Medium, dry and slightly dusty mouthfeel. A quite special beer, but feels refreshing, and I bet it goes down easy on a hot day. (071005)

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of nuts, berries, and brwon sugar as well as light notes of wood. The flavor is very sweet with a pronounced note of alcohol combined with strong notes of berries and nuts as well as medium notes of pumpernickle bread and brown sugar, leading to a dry finish. The alcohol burns slighlty in the throat.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Slightly hazy, pale golden with a lively, white head leaving some laces. Spicy, lightly citrusy nose. Medium body with a base of pale malts and dry citrus notes. Dry, lightly bitter finish. A rather quenching summer beer. 051007

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Fresh, lightly citrusy nose. Light in body with a soft mouthfeel an lightly sweet, wheaty accents. Distinct and pleasant accents of the added lemon grass. Almost no bitterness. Close to being the perfect summer quencher. 051007

35.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Flowery and slight citric aroma. Softly carbonated. Fruity and floral flavour, slight spiced and wheat-like. Ends only minor bitter and maintains the same slight spiced and citric flavour into the finish. I really enjoyed the mellow floral flavours of this brew.

35.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a quickly gone head. Soapy lemon aroma with a mild wheat aroma beneath. Flavour is quite lemonish and soft wheaty. Ends slight citric. Seems thin.

bottle - Pours light amber with a thin head. The light aroma is mostly sweet malt with a little fruit. The flavor... well... this beer is infected. The sour fruit like flavor of infection isn’t as strong and unpleasant as the other bottle of infected Tommyknocker I had was (Maple Nut Brown), but still, it doesn’t taste right. Given that many other people have reported infection problems in the Maple Nut Brown too, I’d say they’ve got a bottling problem.

Cloudy golden color, medium foaming head, leaving minimal lacing in the glass. Aroma typical of American wheat, with notes of lemon zest and grainy wheat. Flavor dominated by wheat and citrus, with a moderate unintegrated bitterness at the finish. Left a long grainy bitterness on the palate.
