Dark brown, nearly black pour - tan head that mostly diminishes within a minute or so - nice whole coffee bean aroma, with background notes of milk chocolate and roast - flavor is quite sweet, with a lot of lactose character - a very strong acidity, most likely extracted from the coffee beans, is quite sharp through the middle - coffee flavor arrives late, for a lingering, espresso-like finish, along with a bit of chocolate - some flavors are quite nice, but that acidity through the middle nearly ruins it for me.

Tap at dry dock - turbid straw color - soapy, lasting head - nose of pungent hops, spicy and lightly sour rye, zesty citrus - soft carbonation - fairly creamy in the mouth - flavor is intensely bitter, with peppery hops and spicy rye, but there is a moderate sweetness and a bready malt character that cuts the bitterness nicely - another solid IPA from dry dock - they’ve been doing well with these the past year.

Tap @ brewery. Clear, dark golden appearance with a white head. Weird, compost, grassy, somewhat lemon/ orange citrusy aroma. Tangy, lemon-lime soda, sour flavor that’s a bit grassy and earthy. Tangy finish. Somewhat refreshing but it’s odd.

Tap @ brewery. Transparent, golden appearance wit ha white head. A bit spicy, light lemon/orange, pale malty, somewhat spicy yeasty aroma. Very rich sugary flavor that’s effervescent and has a citrusy, spiciness to it. A little hard to drink as it’s a bit cloying.

Tap @ brewery. Clear, caramel brown appearance with an off white head. Heavy toffee, caramelized sugary, light vanilla aroma. Fairly well balanced , though a little bitter. More rich toffee and caramel in the taste.

Nitro at the brewery - a nice, dry, medium bitter dry stout, with a hint of bitter chocolate, some mineral notes, earthy, leafy character - a bit of savory character - even a touch of smoke - listed at 4% abv, so super session able, but extremely flavorful at the same time - pretty much everything you want in a dry stout.

Tap at Dry Dock - clear gold pour - very light, moderately crisp up front - light notes of mineral and snappy maltiness through the middle - becomes very tangy, almost sour through the middle - the citrus peel comes through at this point, complimenting the sourness well - lightly grassy finish - quite refreshing.
