330mL bottle, pours a muddy dark brown with a small beige head. Nose has notes of butterscotch, toffee, bready malt, and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is hot, with dry bready caramel, alcoholic bourbon, butterscotch, and a dry, glue-like finish. Nothing exactly wrong with this, but there’s nothing right either. Lots of glue, not much good malt character, nor any good barrel character. Needs work.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose has some chalk, with plenty of oaty chalkiness, not much in the way of hop discernability. Flavour is a little better, with bitter hopburn, oaty chalkiness, and some earthy pine. Earthy, bitter finish. Better than most hazies but still not amazing.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, pours a clear golden with a small wiitr head. Aroma is loaded with bright piney and resinous hops, moderate dankness, and a touch of caramel malt to back. Flavour is wonderfully bitter, with intense resinous hops, huge pine, gentle dankness, some grapefruit peel, and a touch of maltiness to back. Incredible hop expression, balance, and construction overall. Absolutely beauty of a WCIIPA.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of huge piney hops, grapefruit peel, and just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is super bitter, with tons of bitter grapefruit peel, piney hops, and just enough thin biscuity malt to back. Wonderful construction, finishing more bitter than almost any WCIPA in North America these days. Excellent—reminiscent of the glorious IBU wars of the early-to-mid 2010s.

Bottle shared in Lecce at FUEL. Pours black with no head. Super rich aroma, licorice, prunes, figs, medium roast coffee, chocolate, molasses, caramel. Full body. Flavour is rich, sweet, and complex, with a caramel and prune forward character followed by wood and booze. Loads of chocolate fudge and prune, vanilla, bourbon. Excellent.

Bottle shared with Fedi and Beni in Lecce at FUEL. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark malts, chocolate, coffee. Medium to full body. Flavour is malty, quite dry, lots of chocolate, coffee, lovely dark malt profile. Long toasty finish. Lovely Baltic porter.

Can at FUEL. A lovely modern DIPA, lots of rich sweetness and maltiness, balanced by medium bitterness. Tropical and citrusy notes, especially mango, papaya, guava, orange. Very nice!

lattina 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma color cappuccino fine persistente, colore marrone intenso/nero, al naso malto tostato caramello vaniglia caffè leggero Vov, in bocca cioccolato fondente caffè leggero liquirizia frutta rossa, corpo medio, alcool perfettamente bilanciato, carbonazione piatta, dolce con amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Manca un po' di struttura ma nel complesso un’ottima birra. c. Cantina della birra 21.03.25

Bottle shared at work, courtesy of Jorge. Sosem gondoltam volna, hogy a gin hordó karaktere átültethető sörbe yet here we are. Inkább kiegészít, semmint dominál, de ez nem is baj, meglepő módon a mazsola is helyén van. Az év legmeghökkentőbb kombinációjának díjára esélyes lehet, nagyon kellemes meglepetés volt, hogy ilyen faszán működött.

Tap at the BXL fest. Nincs ezzel baj, mert a légynek sem árt, hacsak az nem okoz fájdalmat, hogy mennyire jellgetelen. Faék kettle sour a legáltalánosabb málnapürével.
