330mL bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma has plenty of iodine, roasted malt, and a touch of molasses. Flavour is very deeply malty, with plenty of iodine-like maltiness, some roast, molasses, and a touch of dry cocoa. Low residual sugars, yet has some viscosity to it.

It's black, and has no head. The aroma has some iodine sort of character, along with dark malts. On the palate, good body, lots of dark malt. Good body - drinks lighter and relatively easy for an imperial stout. So to me this is a distinctive character, that's actually pretty good.

Clear yellow blond beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very floral, fruity, soapy impression, a bit grassy, a little dank on warming up. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness up front, floral touch, soapy bitterness, grassy. Aftertaste: pretty herbal, a little fruity, some grapefruit, citrus, soapy finish, ok but not great.

330mL bottle. Pours murky amber-briwn with no head. Brown sugar and glue on the nose. Flavour has a nice brown sugar character, some bourbon barrel, though the waxiness is too overpowering to ignore. Quite disappointing.

330mL bottle, pours a muddy dark brown with a small beige head. Nose has notes of butterscotch, toffee, bready malt, and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is hot, with dry bready caramel, alcoholic bourbon, butterscotch, and a dry, glue-like finish. Nothing exactly wrong with this, but there’s nothing right either. Lots of glue, not much good malt character, nor any good barrel character. Needs work.

On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose has some chalk, with plenty of oaty chalkiness, not much in the way of hop discernability. Flavour is a little better, with bitter hopburn, oaty chalkiness, and some earthy pine. Earthy, bitter finish. Better than most hazies but still not amazing.
