Description

Brewed for the 25th anniversary of the horse statue ’Prins’ on the market square of the town Lennik. Pours hazy yellow with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma contains lots of oat & wheat, barley, some citrus, bitter hops and spices (coriander). It tastes light sweet and medium bitter with a spicy, not too dry finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Rather intense Witbier.

6/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 9/III/19 (2017-1178)
Clear pale yellow beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: nice citrus touch, malty, cheesy, sweaty feet, pretty smelly. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice fruity start, citrus, grapefruit, nice bitterness, bit floral, some yeast, spicy touch. Aftertaste: hoppy, bit cheesy, resinous bitterness. Probably much better when fresher, but couldn't find it for sale just until now.

Bottle at Verzekering. Pours murky pale yellow. Aroma is strongly citric, lightly grassy, soapy. Body is light, strongly hoppy, crisp carbonation, a bit thin, yeasty. Very sessionable, but not enough taste to make it really interesting. Good.
