Fucken can @ home, courtesy of DrewFace. Cheers Flo Rida bro! Pours a hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a big butterscotch, nutty, burnt malty, strong aroma. Flavor is a touch better with at least a touch of citrus but still full of butter and pancakes. Bitter, bland hops. Yikes.

Fucken can @ home, courtesy of DrewFace. Cheers Flo Rida bro! Pours a deep burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Bready caramel, burnt malty, light butterscotch, caramelized sugary, bland hoppy aroma. Burnt, a touch smoky malty, roasted leaves, herbal light citrusy flavor. Tastes old and shitty.

hazy orange pour. Nose is sweet but very spicy! Taste is effervescent with citrus and lots of spiciness, almost overpowering. I sense some Brett but I don’t think this is hte brett version. I taste quite a bit of alcohol but overall, pretty good.

GABF 2013. Pours a bit hazy dark orange appearance with a light tan head. Really fresh and spicy hoppy, piney and dank, grapefruity, a bit herbal aroma. Tasty easy drinker. Light caramel, piney hops, grapefruit, lemon flavor. Would drink again.

GABF 2013. Pours a clear, very, very light yellow appearance with a white head. Corny, lemon, a bit grainy, herbal aroma. A bit sweet and kind of high carbonation, but not all that hard to drink. Not a style I particularly care for, but this was ok.

Tap at GABF 2013. Poured a dark mahogany with a frothy off white head. The aroma is weak grassy hop. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a liqourice bitter dry hop slightly watery palate with the slightest hint of barnyard.

Colour as old Armagnac, and not more head. Rosewater and booze exploding on opening. Not very refined aromas, really - cognac, indeed. Sweet, but not cloying; but again very much rosewater-like, on bitter wood, bitter herbs and tons of sugars. Nutty (but I couldn’t tell pecan). Warming up, it acquires more balance. Lots of alcoholheat, well-bodied, and alcoholic-slick rather than viscous. Good, if not refined Barley wine. Heated!

RBSG 2013. I assume this is named for America’s worst President. Red (like Roosevelt’s economic policies) color. Sweet with hops and lots of alcohol.

Bottle sampled at RBSG. From notes. Bourbon soaked wood, citrus, and a little caramel. Awesome.
