Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 2, split with 77ships. brune foncée, col crémeux jaunâtre, le tout sur léger filament huileux doré au verre Arôme est bien fumé, grillé avec aspect de liquid bacon, beefy and roasty Palais est malté assez épais avec ps mal de belles notes de malts fumés, fruité noir rappelant la figue et date voire pruneaux séchés Sucre résiduel, le tout collant aux lèvres. Alcool reste bien marqué, et plus que sur les versions de base.

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 2, split with 77ships. Holy bim bam, beer goodness. Brune foncée, col blanc-cassé, laissant un léger filament doré au verre. Arôme au bouquet clairement orienté sur le fumé sans être surfait, belles effluves qui sont complétées par un rétro de grains rappelant un peu des croutes de pain, effluves de bacon caramélisé avec un bourbon très subtil. Palais est généreux, notes somptueuses de fumé avec un effet bbq judicieux, le tout sur un petit côté épicé. Aperçu de café, malté torréfié avec un caractère boisé de Bourbon qui vire vers le doux, vanille et tourbé. Retrouve encore un semblant de liquid bacon goodness avec un fini de fruits noirs.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Bright golden, creamy white head. Nose is quite nice, garlic, diesel hops, low milky yeast. Taste is just far too yeasty, milky yeast dominates everything, some malt, drowning out the hops. Overly yeasty body. Shame.

Taste is clean malty, flowers, bread, low oil, wheat, sweet pine, faint sweet soap, very faint grass. Body is mellow soap, bread. Nice plain, easy drinking but with outspoken hop character this would be great.

Nose is stupidly heavy on milky brett, just so much brett mixed with yoghurt, wine, wet mop brett, more packaged brett. Taste is extreme yoghurt, brett on top of brett with moe bret, wet mop, yeast, more brett than you can shake a stick. Stupid but oddly enjoyable as well. Body is liquid brett, low yoghurt.

Nose is nice thick smoky gravy, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, big on smoked soy sauce syrup in a good way. Taste is thick gravy umami, smoke, soy sauce, suck thick gravy, leather, chewy, leathery malt,... Body is crazy thick with sweet leather, umami, smoked malt. Really great, this series is just wonderful (tried 3 different varieties).

Nose is thick amazing rich thick umami, gravy smoke, smoked molasses, rich & stupidly thick. Getting little bourbon but it seems to have given the beer a roundness, a balance & it taste phenomenally good. Taste is thick very thick Polish styled Baltic porter gravy umami balanced by thick sugar upfront, gravy, molasses, smoked good, smoked wood, sugar, stupidly thick, rich gravy syrup offering. Such balance, thickness. incredible world-class beer.

#9000 Draft glass @ Same Krafty. Black, huge creamy deep tanned head. Nose is thick rich gravy smoke, warming syrupy umami. Taste is thick gravy umami smoked gravy faint caramel, stupidly thick, rich, decadend, leather, sherry isn’t too heavy but adds a nice desert sherry layers. Very nice, stupidly thick. Really great beer, one of the truly great Polish Baltic Porters. Hype this.

Tap (Kontynuacja, Wroclaw). Czarne, nieprzejrzyste z jasno-brazowym kozuszkiem piany, niezbyt obfitym ale bardzo trwalym, delikatnie zdobiacym szklo. Aromat wedzony przeplata sie z delikatnymi nutami palonymi. W smaku wedzone, slodkie z palona, popiolowa goryczka ale wrecz aksamitne, mega gladkie, bardzo przyjemne w odbiorze. Nisko nasycone, geste, wydawaloby sie delikatne, slodkie na poczatku ze sporym goryczkowym, palono-popiolowym finiszem. Genialne polaczenie i balans. Piwo godne reprezentowania 5-tych urodzin browaru. Wojtek tak trzymac!

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności do 30.06.2016 , temperatura degustacji 16 stopni+. BARWA: czarne, nie przejrzyste. PIANA: brązowa, obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, średnio trwała, opada do zera, lacing brak. AROMAT: zaraz po otwarciu butelki wędzonka ogniskowa która utrzymuje się do końca tracąc na intensywności jednakże jest cały czas na pierwszym planie, poza tym jest beczka, śliwka w likierze, ziemistość. SMAK: wędzonka, popiołowość, czekolada, przyjemna alkoholo-likierowa goryczka. Wysycenie średnie, gładkie, pijalne, wyklejające. W Polsce się dymi jak mówi klasyk ;) , piwo wyśmienite cały czas się otwiera przy wyższej temperaturze niestety mała butelka.
