Draft at the RateBeer Best Festival 2016. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds faded, musty and piney hops. Medium sweet flavour with notes of old bread, stale pine, some bitter earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more aged pine and crackers. Eh, pretty ho hum.

Very hazy deep amber - brown beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is light and has a reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Good marmalade hops, orange peel and a little fresher orange. Tangerine. Mild woody bitterness. Fruity but bitterish bourbon blends well with the juicy orange and marmalade. Light finish. Really nice combo of orangey hops and bourbon, works very well.

Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana gęsta, beżowa, powoli opada. W aromacie oscypkowa wędzonka. W smaku gorzka czekolada, przyjemna goryczka i lekki dymny posmak. Trochę za mało ciała ale poza tym bez zarzutu.

Draught @ Jabeerwocky, Nowogrodzka 12, Warszawa, Poland 00-511. [ As Widawa Miss Eva ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, tart, dark malt, berry - red berries, wine - red wine, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, red wine, tart, sour, oak, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle from trade with Werckmeister, many thanks! Pours pitch black with faint tan head that disappears quickly. Vinous aroma with dark red fruits, blackberry, chocolate and liquorice. Odd woody taste with chocolate, liquorice and sour red fruits. Leathery finish and texture. I’ll go with more odd than good.
