(Keg at Gastropub Nordic, 20140308) The beer poured golden and very hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tartness, earth, fruitiness and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were berries, tartness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste had berries and bitter. Like a hoppy oud bruin which was not intentional I assume. Weird brew.

Draught @ Setka Pub, Poznań. Pours very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, malt, and dark chocolate. Bitter, roasty flavour of coffee and malt, with hints of cocoa. Bitter and sourish aftertaste. Well-balanced and nice.

Draught @ Setka Pub, Poznań. Pours slightly hazy yellow with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops, and fruit. Bitter flavour of ground coffee beans, hops and needles. Rough aftertaste. More interesting than good.

Bottle, 5.6%. Good mild smoke aroma, the bonfire/charcoal type. Almost black colour, brown shine, seems clear. The flavour is smoked and citric. Has a good charcoal smokiness, but a bit too citric aftertaste.

Bottle, 6.2%. Spicy and farty aroma. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Big stable tight light brown head. The flavour is spicy and roasted. The spices are a bit of a mess, but they are not too overpowering. Yeasty finish, citric enough to balance off the spices.
