Bottle@Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016 - cloudy light yellow pour with tiny white head. Wheaty and light fruity aroma and taste with some herbal veg type notes, not a fan of this.

Bottle, 5.4%. Hazy yellow with giant white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, wheat and spices. Flavour is malt, wheat, yeast, spices, medium sweet, herbs, little banana and a little bitter.

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Hazy pale yellow, airy white head. Wheaty aroma, orange and banana. Fluffy mouthfeel, sweet, yeasty flavour with light spice. Clove and nutmeg.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, yeasty and cloves. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 200816

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. Huge frothy head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are wheat malt, fruits, yeast and hops. Smooth finish.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Citric aroma, but also some wheat. Not much yeast. Quite bitter for a Hefeweizen. Curiously, there is Brett in it too, and nobody knows if it should be there. It works well though!

750 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Dark brown color with beige head. Light roasted malty, yeasty and hoppy aroma, floral, light spicy, some chocolate and licorice, grainy notes and straw when it gets warmer. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Cheers Mat for bringing a 75cl bottle to the Jan 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Dull orange pour, hazy body, off-white head. Yeasty and off-fruits in the nose and taste, weird fruity flavours weave in and out: herbal and different. A strange one really and difficult to score, not your usual IPA that’s for sure.
