Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Curious Porter ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, coffee, vegi coffee, vegetables, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150101]

bottle from Waitrose Sidford. Golden yellow with a small white head. Dusty hops dominate, with a shy touch of cardboard. No glory.

Bottle from the MailBox Lincoln. Dark almost black colour with a off white head. Aroma has toast and caramel, the taste has this too with chocolate and grains. A touch watery on the palate.

My son had a pint of this in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire: I grabbed a large portion of it (just to rate it on here). Golden, bright and clear look with the usual lager/pilsner white but thinning head. Mild hop nose with a crisp hoppy bite to the taste. Not getting over excited, but a decent enough UK brewed lager and a lot better than the mass produced Carling’s of this world.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of boozy orange, dusty pineapple and strawberry syrup. Flavour of marmalade, earth and berries. Medium body with a watery, slightly boozy texture. An earthy, hoppy Pale Ale. A bit too sweet.

330ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Dry-ish, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, some red fruit, some fruit parings. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, dry cocoa, subtle sweetness, a fruity touch of red fruit, red berries, a dry touch of fruit parings; slightly light bodied and minimally watery.

Bottle @ Wannsinchen / MiP bliver gammel. Pours slightly hazy darkish amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of citrus and malt and fruity touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of roast and caramel malt and fruity touches. Bitter aftertaste with citric and fruity hints. Okay.

Bottle, 5.6%. Mild farty aroma, perhaps malty. Small frothy white head. The flavour is malty with a caramelly and papery hop note. Citric finish with a good, slightly rough bitterness.
