Description
We are The Curious Brewery. Where flavour and passion comes first. We believe in trying to create things that others can’t.

Our reason for being is to inspire people to stay curious. To question. To celebrate. To smile more. And to never graduate from the school of life. We decided to make the best-tasting beer and cider, using just the best quality ingredients brewed at our state of the art Brewery in Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom.

Curious bought Wild Beer Co out of administration in a deal that involved the beer brands and intellectual property of Wild Beer Co, but not its Somerset-based brewery production facilities. The Curious and Wild Beer Co businesses were transfered into the hands of St Peter’s in 2023.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a fine white head. Moderate but decent aroma for a pilsner. Mild pale malt, rather fruity and some light grassy hops. Flavor is sweet, smooth, soft pale malt, fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium body with a fine clean aftertaste. Surprisingly nice.

Bottle. It pours a clear, pale golden, almost yellow, body under a small, dense, white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is rather fruity, oranges, canned tropical fruits, some grass and pale malts and a faint peppery touch. It’s medium bodied and smooth on the palate, perhaps a bit too smooth, with flavors of oranges, pine cones, pineapple, peaches and some pale malts, grass and freshly ground black pepper. I’d like a tad more bitterness, but I’m not complaining. Perhaps a bit sweet too, especially in the end, but some more bitterness would even that out. Or, preferrably, let the bitterness be more evident than the sweetness. Quite a lot of sweetness to in the finish. The price for this beer is ridiculous in Norway, but besides that it’s definitely a nice one. Think I’ll get a few more bottles of this. 130918

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Clear orange to amber color, small off - white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, decent bitterness. Not bad at all but I feel it could be a bit more outspoken. Medium body and carbonation.
