Description
We are The Curious Brewery. Where flavour and passion comes first. We believe in trying to create things that others can’t.

Our reason for being is to inspire people to stay curious. To question. To celebrate. To smile more. And to never graduate from the school of life. We decided to make the best-tasting beer and cider, using just the best quality ingredients brewed at our state of the art Brewery in Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom.

Curious bought Wild Beer Co out of administration in a deal that involved the beer brands and intellectual property of Wild Beer Co, but not its Somerset-based brewery production facilities. The Curious and Wild Beer Co businesses were transfered into the hands of St Peter’s in 2023.

330ml can. Pours amber, small off-white head, good retention. Aroma of orange, resin, pine; quite good Taste is biscuit malts, orange, quite smooth but the carbonation is a touch too fizzy. Mild bitterness in the finish with a hint of spice. Overall its a decent Session IPA

Light clear gold, small white head, lots of small bubbles, some retention. Aroma is classic clean sweet lager. Taste is more hoppy than aroma suggests with a nice citrus fruitiness to the pale malts and grassy notes. A crisp slightly bitter finish. Moderate body and a nice soft carbonation. Very good for a lager.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 20. Thanks Mark for this! Misty yellow appearance, sparse white bubbles atop. Wild funk nose. Taste is wild, acetic, tangy with good white wine influence, fine carbonation. Interesting wild fermented character with welcome vinous tones.

Rocky white head left a spotty cover on a translucent straw coloured body. Sweet, malt & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean over the tongue with a sparkling back. Malt, berry, nicely hopped & grain tastes with a long bitter tangy finish. Nice one.
