Bright copper coloured body with a large, dense off-white head. Strong aroma of fresh hops, a touch of caramel and a good malt backbone. Medium-bodied; Definite fresh hop flavour of pine and citrus with a little resiny hops noticeable. Alcohol and some light nuts come through at the end, but the hops are the star here with a good amount of balance malt showing all the way through. Overall, a nice fresh hop beer that shows really good character and is definitely worth trying, if you can find it. I sampled this pint on draught at barVolo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 10-October-2009.

Canette 473ml.

A deep dark stotu with a thin brown head. In aroma, a rather salty chocolate, chocolate covered raisins, milkey, not bad. In mouth, a sweet chocolate with light vanilla milk shake, not bad. Tasted March 12 2011 with Montreal crew.

750mL bottle, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate and espresso, though some others in the tasting differed vastly with what they sensed (cat food? clean vagina??? - I did not get those!). Flavour of chocolate and cranberry with little complexity or depth. Thin body. Not bad.

Enjoy before March 31, 2011 written on sealed tape over swing-top cap. Looks like cola with a big frothy light brown head that stay a bit and as a little lace. Chocolate malt with mild coconut notes, light coffee and vanilla. Mild tarty mouthfeel with the help of cranberries. This fruit is found in the taste, but very subtle. Mostly chocolate (but not too sweet - more on the bitter side) with the coconut notes again lingering into the aftertaste. Pretty interesting and worth trying for sure. Well-brewed with no burns.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with an average size off-white foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of rich black chocolate with light cranberry and minimal sweetness level. Taste is quite enjoyable with notes of rich chocolates and cranberry with very subtle dry coffee notes. Chocolate notes are really smooth with great quality malt being used. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. This brewery seems to amazed me more and more with another quality offering.

A dark reddish amber ale with a thick receeding moka head. In aroma, caramel malts, pinhey c-hops, quite nice and pleasant. In mouth, loads of caramel malts, with beautiful floral c-hops, grapefruit, nutty notes, a perfect harvest ale (in comparison to other recently tasted). Keep up the good work guys! Tasted Nov. 2010.

This double chocolate stout poured a deep black colour with a big, black, creamy, light brown coloured head. To the nose there are scents of roasted malts, dark chocolate, cream and the tiniest smell of fruit. First swig was smooth, rich and creamy with flavours of bitter cocoa, cranberries, cherries, burnt malts and a little coffee. Finish is slightly fruity with bitter/burnt flavours lingers. Very good.
