Pours gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows orange blossom, earthy saison yeast and peach.Flavours include light bready malt, more earthy yeast notes but none of the fruit from the aroma. Finishes nicely dry.

Another solid Aussie APA. Love the unfiltered honey colour. Medium hops, citrus, maybe grapefruit. Definitely try again.

Bottle. Gold with a large white head that gradually fades to a coat. Aroma of light dough, hay, passionfruit, oranges, pepper, cloves. Light bodied. Stone and tropical fruit, slightly husky, vaguely tangy wheat, dry and spicy at the end. Australian hop notes are not jarring at all. Very refreshing, quite interesting.

From a 500ml bottle on 21/4/2015. Pours a dark golden brown with a medium head. The nose is sweet and malty, with some dark fruit presenting, along with some Belgian yeast. Taste wise, it’s very sweet and dessert like, with lots of toffee, butterscotch, brown sugar, caramel and plum. Has the distinct abbey ale yeasty character, with a modest bitterness finishing things off. The palate is syrupy and sticky, with average to lively carbonation. This really is very good - actually much better than most Belgian dubbels I’ve tried.

Wow, smooth and chocolaty. Dark brown with medium airy beige head. Aroma is equal parts chocolate and roast grains. Taste is more so with a little smoke and wood. velvety smooth body, nice subtle bitter finish.
