Bottle 500ml. [ As Doctor Brew Anabelle Belgian IPA ].Unclear medium amber color with a small large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, belgium yeast, sharp, fruity hops, fruity yeast, phenol notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light phenolic. Toasted malty, caramelish and phenolic. Bitter, phenolic, dry and toasted dark malty. Bitter and roasted dry finish.

Barwa bursztynowa, mętne jak to u Doktorów. Piana gęsta, powoli opada, ładnie oblepia szkło. W aromacie słodki, czerwony grejpfrut. W smaku wyraźna, mocna grejpfrutowa goryczka i cytrusy. Smaczne ale ten browar ma lepsze IPA w ofercie.

Sparkling clear beer of gold color. High, white, rocky head. Herbal aroma with hints of fruits. Slight wind scent. Medium bitterness, low sweetness. High carbonation with light body.

At first aroma of citrus hops and some dark malts, hints of bourbon barrel ageing. The latter are becoming more apparent with warming and in taste however they are balanced with beer and tannines do not dominate. The beer is pretty sweet with some bitterness, hints of dark chocolate, alcohol is well hidden which makes it pretty easy drinking. Unfortunately the mouthful is not very thick and dark malts are not very complex. Maybe this is because the brewery was not ready for making a 24 plato beer hence malt extracts and dry feeling, maybe it should be less fermented than. Barrel ageing gives a very interesting character to the beer. Not the worst Polish RIS not the best, worth trying.

Medium head, quite nice lacing, golden colored beer. Faint aroma of citruses, slight DMS and diacetyl. High bitterness, medium sweetness. Medium body and carbonation.

Excellent aroma of coco, slight and nice bourbon, vanilla, some hints of citrus. Comparing to some other BA beers in Poland (e.g. Ratel by Kopyra and Widawa) the barrel does not totally dominate the taste and aroma of the beer, nor does it attack with tanines, rather it enriches the taste giving a hint of sweet aroma which is really complex and exuisite (actuslly one of the best BA aromas I have ever tasted). Unfortunately in the taste the beer is not so much rich, it is on the contrary pretty dry with extreme hoppy bitterness which makes it good for drinking in as small amounts as possible. Barley Wine should not be this level dry but its not bad and the aroma is really great and rich.

Tap (Wlodkowica21, Wroclaw). Barwa ciemno bursztynowa, miedziana, piwo w miare klarowne. Piana delikatna w kolorze ecru, szybko redukuje sie do cienkiego pierscienia. Aromat slodki, wanilii zdominowany przez nuty beczkowe. W smaku slodkie, waniliowe z goryczka w kontrze, nieco alkoholowa. Piwo jest lekko oleiste, w calosci oblepiajace podniebienie, rozgrzewajace, slodowe choc te nuty mocno przykrywa beczka. Pije sie z najwieksza przyjemnoscia, powoli rozkoszujac sie kazdym lykiem.
