75 cL bottle, courtesy of Myrup and Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with a diminished white head. Mild spiced elderflavour aroma mixed with a nice hops note. Smooth and light sweet caramel malty and spiced flavoured into the finish. Light herbal finish yet still smooth, sweet and easy.

(Bottled, brewed 05/2008, bryg #43). Thanks Timo A. Opaque black, small brownish head. Salt licorice, light coffee, vegetables in the nose. Licorice, yeast, sticky alcohol. Chalky and yeasty mouthfeel. Herbal/vegetably tone in the aftertaste. Not really a world class stout, but nice beer for slow drinking.

(Bottle 70 cl) Hazy pale golden with tiny impurities and a white head. Fresh aroma of elder flower and some flowery hops. Medium body with lightly sweet malts and again elder flower. Dry and lightly bitter finish. Refreshing. Usually beers with elderflower are sweet, but the combination with a solid hoppiness actually works surprisingly cool. 230808

Bottle, from trade with papsoe. A slightly unclear beer, reddish-orange color, and a beige, creamy head. Sweetish on the nose, with caramel and nice hops. Slightly roasted. There’s some notes of cooked vegetables in the mouth, but oddly enough in a quite nice way, else it’s a sweet beer with a little spiced touch and caramel. Medium body. Nice bitterness in the finish. A pleasant Easter beer. Even in the summertime. (080620)

Bottle, from trade with papsoe. It pours a golden body with lots of microfloaties, else it’s quite clear. Off-white head. Alcohol, lots of sweetness, some caramel, and a good dash of hops and spices in the aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side, with some alcohol and a grainy note. Some hops and spices to give a pleasant bitterness too. Full-bodied and sweet with a nice level of carbonation. Good bitterness in the finish. A quite complex and nice beer possibly deserving a higher rating. (080620)

RBESG08 grand tasting. Hazy gold, thin beige head. Good yeast, and grapefruit hop, a little syrupy in the malts in the mouth. Bit yeasty and syrupy. Decent, but a little basic and uncultured.
