Good white head, stable, over hazy orange beer.End of bottle solid yeast;m Lavender, rosemary, bit soapy, cypress, eucalyptus or taxus. Aromatic, but coming on a bit strong. A bit of the same in the mouth, but more balanced by a toasted, lightly roasted malt flavour. The aromatic eucalyptus/herbal/coniferous vector returns retronasal. Warming up, a bit of human sweat. Quite spritzy carbonation if slick, medium bodied, very faint alcoholwarmth. The eucalyptus (which is really there, I hope the taxus isn’t), comes as a bit dominating, but the beer remains quite drinkable.

0.33 l bottle from ’belgiuminabox’, best before April 2016 (I believe). Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, herbal, slightly fruity aroma of menthol (eucalyptus), vanilla, banana, clove and peach. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, herbal and slightly fruity taste of banana, peach, menthol, clove and vanilla, followed by a long, yeasty-spicy, moderate bitter, warming and slightly alcoholic finish. Medium body, effervescent and slightly spritzy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Really nice beer, I like the eucalyptus touch a lot, it is very refreshing and balances the classic, heavy tripel flavours well. I could imagine it will mellow with some aging and taste even better then.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Huge white head on top of a hazy cloudy orangy color. Aroma is weird, herbal, spicy, fungus. Taste also has quite some herbs or spices, sweetish. I don’t like it. Weird herbal Tripel. Not my thing.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como, batch 4, bb 04/2016
Cloudy blond color, with greenish hue, and too large head; persistent perlage supporting the cap of foam. Herbal aroma, eucalyptus, and some Parmigiano Reggiano, I don’t think this was intended. The mouthfeel is overly carbonated, most likely this refermented in the bottle beyond the will of the brewer; it’s also quite sweet, and warm because of the alcohol; the eucalyptus and the low bitterness, and some spices from the yeast, create a feeling of soap and sweet liquorice.
I’m not impressed.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy bronze with a small white head. Aroma is very spicy, with eucalyptus, candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Flavour is very spicy, with tons of eucalyptus and rosemary, followed by Belgian yeast and a touch of candied sugar. Super spicy, fairly sweet and yeasty. Not really my type of tripel, but I dig the yeast quality and the dryness. Solid.

Bottle poured at the tasting, thanks to luttonm for the share. Cool to try this unique trappist beer. Soapy, lotion like yeast aroma with a coriander like feature in both the aroma and flavor. Spice and orange throughout. Weird beer for me, but not bad.

750mL dark green, capped bottle shared by luttonm. Looks like it was bottled on 05/15 and BB 03\16. A very ugly pour, dirty gold. Head dies. Slightly sweet, but nit crazy. Slightly banana but light. Not too sweet but has some sweet. Eh, its ok
