Bottle poured at the tasting, thanks to luttonm for the share. Cool to try this unique trappist beer. Soapy, lotion like yeast aroma with a coriander like feature in both the aroma and flavor. Spice and orange throughout. Weird beer for me, but not bad.

750mL dark green, capped bottle shared by luttonm. Looks like it was bottled on 05/15 and BB 03\16. A very ugly pour, dirty gold. Head dies. Slightly sweet, but nit crazy. Slightly banana but light. Not too sweet but has some sweet. Eh, its ok

Bottle - Sweet medicinal and grassy, peppery notes. Cloudy gold white head. Bitter, perfumy, herbal and a long bitter sweet finish.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ Gollem. Thank you! Very hazy orange, super-hazy, small white head. Nose is weird super-milky yeast, really yoghurt heavy beer with light floral hint. Taste is equally weird, incredibly heavy on yoghurt & some yeast, sugar, candy, very sweet yoghurt, also a light yoghurt sourness touch possibly, mainly white sugar, in the back muted low floral quality which you can recognize as eucalyptus if you focus on it. Hugely milky body. A few sips were enough, interesting but a full bottle really doesn’t seem to me like an enjoyable experience. The very heavy yoghurt quality is weird for me, excess of yeast, flawed brewing I suppose & maybe also an odd mix of malt on top. Weird, not something that I really ever need again. I can feel the level of these new Trappist breweries lowering, we are very close to the first truly terrible one. This is really diluting the brand but that is really not my problem. It might hurt my misplaced nationalism a bit.

Bottle at Belgiuminabox. Pours unclear yellow, good white head. Smell is very herbal. Taste is bitter, herbal, sweet spiced notes. Some bitter and hoppy notes. I like the specific tastes in this one.

Bottle from @La Calamita, Rome. A bit expensive for a tripel, €5.5, pours golden with a huge white head, a lot of carbonation from the bottle. Weird aroma of the eucalyptus, minty, very fresh, citrus, malts. Taste is alcoholic, malts, Belgian tripel yeast, i don’t believe i’ve ever tasted a beer with eucalyptus in it, taste is weird ’minthy’, sweet, slightly bitter, medium body, a lot of co2, strange beer ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Speciaal, kruidig. Niet mis maar weet niet of ik er veel van zou drinken
