Bottle at brewery open day. Translucent browny gold colour with a nice creamy white head from careful pouring. Aroma is bit floral, and bit hoppy. Also biscuity malty. Interesting feeling in mouth. Nice mix of flavours, and the obligatory bitter finish. My favourite of their beers on the day. --- Beer merged from original tick of Love Not War (4.7%) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Cask at brewery open day. Clear golden/orange colour with no head. Aroma is citrus hop, touch of cat pee. Taste is a bit fruity, maybe a little touch of mango and naturally with some hoppy bitterness and a nice bitter finish. Quite refreshing. No carbonation.

Keg tap at the Admiral Hornblower, Oakham. Light gold, hazy. Hoppy aroma with cake icing and stone fruit combining with ground coriander. Sweet taste with a sourness near the finish. Lemon peel notes against wheat beer sweet spice in the finish. Medium to strong carbonation, giving more life to the body. A fairly standard wheat beer but not bad all in all.
