@Backlog 1.6 uit speciale ’ijs-koeler’ totaal geen aroma, veel te koud, en extreem zwak tot matig pilsje. nee geen tweede meer van dit spul. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ice on 18 May 2018 at 15:55 - Score: 3

@Backlog verzamelde toen dertijd de etiketten, deze was smaakvoller dan de standaardpils, graan en mout in zowel smaak als aroma, licht, en matig bitter, maar ja weer een dommelsch hé, ´t spul kan mij niet bekoren --- Beer merged from original tick of Dominator on 18 May 2018 at 15:41 - Score: 3

@Backlog stevig moutig, met iets van fruit, redelijk zoet met karamel en donkere mouten (stevige smaken), heb toch een uitzondering gemaakt om weer een dommelsch te proeven, gewoon geen goede ervaringen met Dommelsch. over het algemeen aardig maar niet meer dan dat --- Beer merged from original tick of Bokbier on 18 May 2018 at 15:41 - Score: 4

Bottle. Clear maroon color, scant head. Aroma of subtle prunes and raisins. Taste is odd sweet, sour and buttery. Calling this one an oud bruin is false advertising.

30cl Bottle brought back from a mission in Holland: best before May 2013, poured into a Duvel glass on 10 Dec 2012. It was better than the Hertog Jan beer I had next, but it didn’t have to rty hard! Typical Pilsner look: golden, clear and with a white head that couldn’t wait to leave. Grainy nose with a crisp and semi-sweet taste. Nothing sets it apart from thousands of simular Pilsner/Lagers around the world. Refreshing and non-taxing on the taste buds, un-offensive and ideal to quench your thirst after a days graft: but not a beer the chase after.

Bottle at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam
Dark mahogany color, medium head. Perfumy caramel aroma. Sweet caramel flavor, no real bitterness. Actually I find it not deep but quite refreshing.

Can post-Borefts Day 1, Utrecht Basecamp. I provided this can. Pours clear, pale gold with a moderate, white foam head. Pale, grainy malt nose with light sugar notes. Medium sweet flavor with subtle cardboard, hay, light sugar, mild bitter straw. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly crisp on the finish with light dry biscuits, mild sugar, light bitter hay. A solid supermarket lager. Definitely one of only a few styles of beer I would be happy to drink after a day of ’complex’ (high ABV) beers like those at Borefts. Good one.

33cl can, drank in the lounge at Tivoli, Utrecht.
