Just a taster as it was the end of the barrel. Light claret coloured with a small bubbly off-white head and a tart fruit and wine/brandy aroma. Tart berry flavour, some vinous notes and a very dry finish.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nose is cappuccino, dark chocolate, raisin, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla. Taste is very similar. Rich sweet malty finish.

Редкий случай когда пшеничка классическая такая хорошая сделанна крафтовиками. Прям и бананчик и пшеница сама ощущается, сладость цветочная. Хорошо.

440ml can. Slightly hazed amber with a big off-white head. Aroma of marmalade, caramel, orange and grapefruit. Taste is citrusy, orange, grapefruit, chewy malts, sweet caramel and marmalade, piney and herbal finish with some assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. Decent westie.

Can via the online shop. Nearly black. Dense lasting lacing tan foam. Looks boss. Nose has hedgerow fruit. Twangy yeast. Savoury smoke. Bit of white chocolate, oddly. Taste is fruit tangy smoky and a tad sweet, before a woody earthy bitterness kicks in. Smooth and very easy drinking overall. Smoky fruity twang to finish.

Can via the online shop. Clear bronze gold. Slim sticky fairly leggy white foam. Thought on first sniff this might be oxidised somewhat, but actually it’s probably the caramalt. Pine and old English marmalade. Bit of wood polish. You get the idea. Taste is sweet and sticky with a huge bosh of pine resin bitterness. Sticky on the palate too although I’d guess sub 8%. Lingering piny sappy bitterness to finish. Dunno with this. It’s a good beer but I’m sure there’s a bit of oxidation going on. Be interested to see if anyone else ticks it.

Urk från SB. Trögflytande sirapsfärgad vätska med lågt skum. Söt och med mycket värmande alkohol. Så len och med en precist avvägd punch av alkoholen för att inte bli sliskig. Kryddig och eldig. Eucalyptus, hostmedicin och läkerol original. Mycket gott
