Bottle from Binny's. Dated Sept. 2023. Lighter brown than the usual stout. Nice raspberry juice smell. Taste brings in more coffee with raspberry on the side. Light roast, but still somewhat bitter. I think the flavoring takes away from the beer base a little bit.

Tap at St. Louis Brewmasters in Lambert Airport. Pours dirty dark gold with small white head that fades to a slight dusting and a collar of bubbles. Fruity aromas subdued. Flavor is citrus and dirt. Thin mouthfeel. A lot is missing here.

Pour is a dark red with a large white head. Aroma is pumpkin spices with a lingering vanilla. Flavor is all pumpkin spice and I really don't get much vanilla at all. Schlafly pumpkin is one of the better pumpkin beers out there IMO so this is not a bad beer, it's just lacking the vanilla I was promised. Just buy the regular pumpkin beer and pass this one by the vanilla adds nothing.
