Bottleworks draught, 2/11/24. Moderately-lightly cloudy, deep bronze-brass. Small, thin white head. Fruity nose, though you'd never guess passion fruit nor hops. Banana, wheat, light acidity. Clean. Crusty, nutty, wheat with lightly sweet barley malt, touch of fruity acidity. I don't get any hops. Dries out on the finish. Lingering malt, mild banana, cream of wheat and gentle acidity. Pretty well balanced.

Bottleworks draught, 2/13/24. Clear, light-amber. Smattering of off-white head. More coffee than cacao. Good base malt behind it. Minimal hop. Soft with a bit of crusty bread. Good malt, good attenuation. Better blend of adjunct in the flavor. Good balance. Clean. Low bitterness, no idea where you would get astringent bitterness here...

Can. Pour is pale yellow with a decent white head. Nose is big coffee, with perhaps a tad of chocolate. Taste is coffee up front, interesting these pale beers that taste like coffee. In the middle the coffee really begins to set in a nd the chocolate is fading. Decent co2 level. Not really able to pick out the hops but the coffee sure is adding its own kind of bitterness. On the finish, the bitterness really starts to set in. Long lasting astringent coffee bitter ending.

12 ounce can. Clear, medium gold pour. Pillowy white head. Bready malt nose. Flavor upfront is bready and light. Some herbal hops. Overall, a very light beer that does not measure up to the style. Pale and insipid. I have grown to expect better from Schlafly.
