12 ounce bottle from Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours a murky lemon yellow color with a thin head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma is fresh pithy lemons with a hint of sweetness. Taste is creamy lemonade, mostly dry with a bit of sweetness, and a bit of graininess. Medium bodied.

Tap @ Applebees. Yellow with a small white head. Faint aroma of malty sweetness with some light floral crispness in the taste. I wouldn’t have guessed this as a wheat ale, but more of the pale lager variety. Very mild.

Pours hazed orange into a Sam glass. Off-white head with medium retention leaves spiders as it recedes to coat surface. Summer berry aromas. Crisp and soda-like with strong fruity berries upfront with a sour seed finish.

Overall Impression: Not a very interesting beer. Honey and wheat and not much else. Light and dull, but not awful.

Overall Impression: I'm not going to apologize for liking this one. Its a nice, tasty, enjoyable summer wheat. Nice body to it, but still easy drinking. A really nice example of a style that I don't usually find myself loving. Great for a hot summer days by the pool or the grill. I know its chic to dismiss this one, but I don't agree, in fact, I've got it just below Gumballhead on my list of best wheat ales I've tried.

Bottle. Poured cloudy yellow with thick white head. Much lacing. Aroma of lemon and nothing else. Smelled like a lemon cream pie. Sweet lemon flavour. Much like a lemon soft drink. Flat flavour, like old bread. Not worth seeking out. As it warmed the flavour turned metallic. I ended up pouring it out. It looked good, that’s the best I can say for it.

Bottle 355ml. @ home.[ Trade by BDR ]. Clear dark black color with a average to large, creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark chocolate, licorice, dark plum notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and coffee & burnt bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090706]

Bottle at home ... Thanks to a huge to one of my Very early traders... ive had this one for a while now ... so ive rudly forgotten ... big black ... thick tan head ... nice rich toffee soft roast very meaty nose ... sweet meaty toffee malt ... wow its in my face but its softly caressing it ... deeply sweet... this might get a bit sweet for me .. but initial impresions and like sinking into a the caress of a moist woman...

Sampled on draft at Johnny’s Wife’s Place in Jeannette PA this beer poured dark orange-caramel color with a small tan head that faded quickly. The aroma was very faint nutty malts and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with notes of caramel, biscuit and fruity hops. The middle turned dryish with a yeasty, chewy undertone. The finish was long, tangy and dry with notes of caramel and fruit. Subtle yet surprisingly complex, I found myself liking this one more than I thought I would. Eminently quaffable.

12oz bottle–pours a foamy off white head and amber color with effervescence. Aroma is light/medium malt-caramel/peat/bready, some musty fruit, slight spice hops. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel/peat/bready, some musty fruit, secondary copper/spice hops. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.
