Draft at CBC. Pours a nasty murky brown with an off white head, but it all gets a lot better after that! Nice sweet aroma of caramel, malt, dark fruits and raisins. Flavour is also very sweet with fudge, caramel, raisins, dark fruit, wood and only a little noticeable alcohol aside from the sweet warming finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation. A surprising highlight beer of CBC.

Refrigerated can from JoePeesie brewed on date November 9, 2012 poured into a shaker. Pours hazy golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Some small bubble lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and light herbal aroma (poppy). Taste is herbal (poppy seeds), off bread taste, some grass, hint of pepper, and little taste in the finish. Tastes old, I don’t think I would like this even if it were fresh.
