Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark copper pour with creamy beige head, aroma of malt and caramel, taste has some stale grainy malt, struggling to find any NZ hop character, I’ve got 8 other little beers to go hope they over deliver.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a round bubbly off white head. The aroma is smooth dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, hop bitter, light chocolate, liqourice palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A little too much life for a milk stout.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours clear amber with a creamy head. Bready, quite sweet, with lots ofo ripe berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet and slightly sticky with notes of toffee, ripening fruits, berries and bread. Tasty.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours deep amber with a creamy tan head. Massive peat and TCP on this one, with secondary notes of ham and plastic. Full bodied with fine carbonation and chewy texture. Hot finish with lasting impressions of plastic and peat. A bit rough overall.

Almost opaque amber - brown beer, small pale cream colour head. Big TCP on the nose. Palate is airy and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Mild dry malts with mild sweetness. A good deal of band aid and TCP. Dry malt cream and mild spice before a dry finish. Pretty much all TCP. Meh!

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Bash, 24/01/15 thanks to Danyell who lost to England 16-21 a few weeks later. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy dark fruits, spice, toffee, caramel, light charr effect. Taste comprises light papery notes, caramel, dark malt presence, more fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.
