Description
Brewing in freedom. Young and locally oriented nano brewery. Brewing small batches we developed 20+ delicious beers over the last 4 years. At the end of 2015 we opened up our brewpub 'Café Rad van Wageningen' where we serve our locally produced beers plus some samples of other beers. For non beer drinkers we have a modest list of (good dutch) wines, stronger liquors and many other beverages. Don't forget the crafty pubmeals on friday or saturday. (Local Dutch brewer with description in English; because in the city of Wageningen we have lot's of foreign customers)

Bottle. After some years absence this beer is back now. 8.6% ABV. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, caramel malt. Taste: Sweetish tropical fruit (overripe pineapple, passion fruit, mango), overripe peach and some citrus (orange, tangerine), caramel malt notes, hoppy. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. A bit West-Coast style-like. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Like most beers from Stadsbrouwerij Wageningen this is not like the average beer in this style but noticable brewed with passion and craftmanship. Somehow a really do appreciate the no-nonsense beers of this brewery.
