City Tap FP draught, 4/27/23. Dark. Tan head to ring. Fudge quickly collects spicy bourbon but is then re-sweetened by marshmallow. Graham cracker, caramel, more fudge. Very sweet, needs more Pinhook character and less fudgey mallow. But it's not boozey. Soft, viscous with raisin, prune, vanilla and a Stay Puft like mallow finish. Ok, this is pretty well-done, albeit sweeter than Bombs or Stay Puft. The barrel aging didn't seem to attenuate the beer enough and while the flavor and viscosity are good, it's so sweet. Rye whiskey helps balance but raisin, cherry, vanilla, and strong sugar overpower the finish. Almost there but just a bit too sweet.

Pours jet black, scent is full, roasty, chocolate, sweet, intense, milder on the barrel. Taste is full, sweet, intense chocolate and bourbon, thick bodied, mild cracker/cookie notes (American style chocolate chip coockie) Medium intense bourbon. Hints of cinnamon. Lovely.

Pours black, no head. Scent is fairly mild , roasty, bourbon barrel had the upper hand. Taste is sharp, bourbon, woody, boozy, quite chewy, roasty, mild chocolate. Bit hot. Mild soy. Kinda good, but tok sharp and boozy, not my favorite as it isn't very specific, more of a generic hot puddle of BA .

Pours black, no head. Scent is juicy, bourbon, soy, roasty chocolate, smoother than all previous versions I've had. Taste is fairly sharp, bourbon, but quite balanced between heath, roast and sweetness. Perhaps a bit to much towards the booze, but not troublesome. Seemingly high abv , though 'only' 13 %

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, less sharp than orange, mild in general. Some bourbon and wood, not very specific. Taste is sharper, very grainy bourbon, rather boozy, quite clear on the bourbon, medium mild roast in the back. Some sweetness, medium body (only). Medium low carbo. Ok

16 ounce can from Yardley Beer Company. Number one with a bullet. Hazy, orange gold pour. Large, dense, frothy white head. Spotty lacing. Fragrant, tropical fruit aroma hints at papaya, guava and passion fruit. First sip brings notes of sweet mango, honey, tangerine and pineapple. Tangy and sweet. Juicy to a fault.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of passion fruit, orange, yoghurt and vanilla. Pours hazy orange golden color with large frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with refreshing tart passion fruit yoghurt, citrus and vanilla, follows by tannins with smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Passion for sourness…

Can, 0.473l. Aroma is grainy, vinous, acetic, herbal and floral. Pours hazy dark golden color with large soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart vinous and citrusy, following is grainy with notes of tannins, lactose and hay with crisp and rather dry mouthfeel. Light to medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good one and reminds me of Stoosh by Skunk Anansie…
