8/10
Dark sweet and roasted malty, rich opulent chocolate, sweet maple and caramel, full bodied, layers of bourbon, vanilla and coconut into the warming malty finish. Gorgeous.

Vanilla bomb is what's mostly left with hints of coffee, nice carb though!

Pours black, smallest layer of tanned head. Scent is pure cocoa, roast, chocolate syrupy goodness. Whiff of coconut and vanilla, fairly silent on barrel and honey , nuts and marshmellow. Taste is full-on intense, chocolate and vanilla bomb. Barrel rises up towards the late taste / aftertaste, dragging the nuttyness along. Mild on the coconut. Super soft and gentle, low carbonation. Thick, intense body. Superb beer once again, as is to be expected. Not the best JWB ever, but certainly one of those that reminds me of those.

16 oz thanks to tfontana on the share. Aroma is herb, floral, dank. The flavor is a bit more fruity than the aroma. But there is some oxidation in the malt. Not awful. Wish we had a fresher can!

Can from Liquor Junction, Reading. Significant sediment, otherwise standard look, trace lacing. Aroma is fruit (apple?), floral, sweet malts/light caramel, mild tart. Taste is strong pineapple, sweet malt, something slightly off--likely related to age. Smooth, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Tastes better than it smells. Something is a bit off, like slightly unfinished but is almost certainly related to aged hops.
