Bottle, at Sergey's
Black colour. Aroma of roasted malt, asshole, old house. Good body, moderately sweet, not thick as the current trend; roasted malts flavour, quite acidic too, touch of marshmellows, dark fruits. The dark fruit and sour character was unexpected, off-putting.

Pours a slightly hazy, pale orange-gold, with big head. Aroma is pine, coconut, some bread. Flavor follows. Crisp mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

750ml (thx, Jason G., for the bottle and Peter K. for proxying) shared with Alex @ home. Appearance: dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: mix of American oak and Rum barrel, fruity, some acidity, roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, very noticeable acidity that's coming from the rum barrel. Moderate body for this ABV. It's a bit boozy. Overall: it's not bad, but it is a complete disappointment from the two breweries considering their level, as there is too much rum barrel influence that added unnecessary acidity to the beer that's supposed to be a dessert stout.
