Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and toasted. Bitter and grassy. Toasted and dry hrassy, bitter far finish.

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, grains, bit sugary, cow fodder, actually smells like a low abv/non alc beer. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of grains, metallic touch, bit sugary. Aftertaste: grains, metallic, hay. Nope, not my thing... Missing some refreshing grassy/spicy hops here.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with a huge, lively, bubbly and thankfully short lived white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, light green leaves and yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Presented by Leroy-Van Eecke... Who brews this really? Very high, dense-fine, just off-white head over faitnly hazy golden beer with Grünstich Spicy-herbal, dull grains. Again very spicy in the mouth, herbal and yeasty, liquorice without its specific sweetness, yet quite sweet in the end. Medium bodied, slick, even viscous. Not very attenuated for a tripel. Decent, nothing more.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ PBF X ] Petalax Beer Festival 2015 by oh6gdx, Petalax, Finland. [ As Flanders Fields Ale 14-18 Bruin ].Clear dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, candy sugar, malt extract, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, malt extract, brown sugar, light metalic, iron notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150724]

10/10/2015 sample @ Bles Bierhappening Zottegem. Hazy orange, medium white head. Malts, too much yeast, some fruits, some spices. Didn’t like it too much

Bottle bought in Ieper. Smooth fresh, slightly sweetish. Not too deep, hints of yeast, fresh-smooth, mild. Not really deep or aromatic, easy to drink. Nice.
