Description
With the creation of Village brewery De Meester we want to re-establish the tradition of artisan brewing in Kuurne. Our beers are brewed solely according to the traditional brewing processes, with the greatest care and only with natural raw materials. For our beers, we use hop flowers from Poperinge exclusively and refrain for using nor colour pigments, nor foam improvers, nor artificial seasonings. The result of this traditional work methods are the beers of Village brewery De Meester. Beers with character, interwoven with aromas from the different local hops.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a tonnne of saccharin sweetness.

F: medium size, white, not long lasting. C: gold, hazy. A: smoky, smoky meat, woody, herbal. T: a lot of smoky, smoked meat, basement, hint of fruity, medium body, quite high carbonisation, not bad, thanks to tderoeck and kraddel for sharing beers today! Sampled from bottle @ ZBF 2017 Leuven.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, slight metallic. Breadish and roasted malty. Sweet, toasted malty and slight caramelish. Sweet and toasted malty finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is smoked and herbal. High carbonation. Metallic. Meaty. Smoked. Dry and meaty smoked finish, sligh Metallic far finish.

Very cloudy beige beer, creamy aery white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, bit off, pretty weird. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sugary, malty, grains, bit sourish, some cow fodder, where's the smoke? Aftertaste: bit sourish, banana, yeast, sweet, meh.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017. Sehr trübes goldenes Bier. Geruch ist dezent torfig rauchig. Geschmack ist torfig, leicht fruchtig hopfig, hohe karbonisation.
