A hazed reddish brown ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with smooth floral hops, roasted notes, well done. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light orange pulp, oily mouthfeel, floral hops, nice. On tap at brewpub, Jan 20 2012.

This is a great big stout. Reminds me of a double chocolate chunk oatmeal cookie. I can’t wait to head back there and drink this one again.

Hazy orange - amber beer, tidy white head. Light palate, a little dry. Nice sweet tangerine and clementine. Peach and pineapple too! A touch of mango joins the party before the light semi dry finish. Love this combination of citra hops and Belgian yeast!

Draft at Ale Asylum. I’m really diggin this beer. Loads of caramel malt for a stiff backbone and a whole bunch of citrus, grapefruit and orange zest for the hops. Brought a growler home. Awesome.

Not a huge fan of this one. I had it a little later in the tasting and after a bunch of big stouts and IPAs, just didn’t really measure up. I’ll try it again in the future and update the rating.

Draft at Ale Asylum. I’m really digging this brew. Loads of sweet tropical and citrus fruits and grapefruit along with a decent malt backbone. Very good.

Draft @ the Brewery. Aroma of nutty brown sugar, spices and caramel. Taste is quite similar with even more nuttiness. Overall, I’m diggin this beer. Wish I could get it in my neck of the woods.
