Bottle. Dark brown color with off-white head. Aroma is mild smoke, chocolate, honey, earthy, some grains. Taste is chocolate, grains, earthy, with a nice aromatic smoky finish. Ashy, almost dry finish with lowish carbonation. A bit too light-bodied for the strength, but quite tempting!

750 ml bottle, from Netto Brønderslev. ABV is 9.0%. Nearly black colour, large to moderate tan head. Aroma of smoked and roasted malts, hints of peated whisky, dark chocolate and tar. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, but is initially slightly sweeter than expected. Hints of prunes and honey, fairly distinct bittering hops. Dry aftertaste.

Bottle. Unclear amber body under a light off-white head. Aroma has sweet malt, dry fruit, caramel and honey. Taste is sweet, smooth malt, caramel, dry fruit and warming alcohol, still surprisingly well balanced for a 12% beer/mead/braggot. Rather smooth and nice with balancing bitterness.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Citrusy nose. Light body, a sweet fruitiness, citrus/lemon notes throughout as in a soda pop with no real bitterness. Very decent and drinkable. 120620
