Description
Tunnel Brewery is dedicated to using the finest, local, raw materials, such as Maris Otter malts and First Gold hops, grown in the garden of Worcestershire. These will be matched alongside traditional English brewing methods.

Started brewing in 2005 at The Lord Nelson Inn on Birmingham Rd in Ansley. Moved in 2011 to the Red House Farm. In 2015 the Brewery was taken over by Indian Brewery. The Tunnel brand was gradually shut down after the take over. Tunnel Brewery then split off at some stage as a separate company and is now active as a client brewer.

Changed name into Time For Beer in 2020.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. It pours a slightly hazy and suprisingly pale golden. Not that it is yellowis, I just expected a darker color. There’s a thin layer of off-white bubbles on top. Citrusy hops, some malt and a little dusty, sour, citric aroma in the background. Nice, citrusy and bitter flavor, sure fruity, but there’s also some indications of the beer going bad, with dusty, citric flavors. Medium to full body. Still a quite decent beer, but guess it was on it’s way down. (080822)

Bottle, shared by fonefan. Pours a hazy copper body with just some off-white bubbles for a head. The aroma has some citric, dusty and sour notes, but at least they are not masking all of the caramel. The flavor has a blend of citrus and malt, with some hoppy bitterness, but just a tiny one. Medium body. Citrus-fruity and bitter finish, quite weak. What can I say, not very good, not completely off, but it seems it’s on it’s way. (080822)
