Gravity cask at Brew Wharf - London. Pours deep brown with a frothy beige head. A bit less ashy than the base beer, and certainly with more citrusy hop character. Light bodied with fine carbonation. A bit of dry chocolate in the finish, some earth, orange citrus. Nice.

Pint at brew wharf. Many pints in fact. Amber orange in colour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nice piney citrus, some sweet orange. Flavour is nutty malt with light caramel hops are resin pine, some lemon. Palate is sweet chewy with some resin. One of brew wharf’s best. Good work Ang.

Cask at Brew Wharf - London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a strong, frothy white head. The nose has lots of grassy hops, pine, citrus rind. Medium sweet flavor with oily hops, more grass and pine, some orange, a hit of dry minerality. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Resinous hops on the finish, lingering grass and pine, more rind, lightly juicy orange. Good one.

Cask at Brew Wharf, 25/03/14. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a moderately appointed off white head that thins and stays for the show. Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, mango, red grapefruit, earthy hops. Taste comprises candied orange peel, bubblegum, mineral bite, juicy hop presence, light pine, sharp grapefruit intake, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, hop bitterness in the close. Solid cask IPA - cheers Ang!

Cask at Brew Wharf. It pours clear deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is pine, earth, spice, light floral, toast, caramel, tangerine and peach. The taste is bitter, spicy, resin, wood, grapefruit rind, lemon peel, florals, peach, brown bread, toasty notes and light apricot with a lingering bitter citrus finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very good depth for the style. Punchy, yet drinkable. One of Ang’s best, but sadly last beers....

Cask at the Brewpub. So here we are - last Brew Wharf beer ever. The name of this made me smile, surrounded as it was by Meantime pump clips. Hazy orange - amber beer, small off white head. Palate is smooth and fresh with.a good crispy carbonation. Excellent condition! Smooth, almost silky, malt base. Hops are a stunning combo of fresh orange, orange peel, big hop spice and a sweeter touch of peachy mango. This is followed by light traces of lemon and floralness and a stronger lime streak. Smooth finish with a distinct minty note and then a fair bit of hop spice burning the tongue. Strong citric peel bitter linger. Lovely complex spicy IPA. Had to have another. How Ironic that Ang produces his best for last. A two fingered beery salute to the short sightedness of BrewWharf.

Cask at BrewWharf. It pours nears black with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, pine, earth, ash, toast, chocolate, spice, light caramel and a touch of smoke. The taste is rich, roasty, high bitterness, resin, pine, ash, charred toast, coffee, light acidity, spice and liquorice with a bitter-roasted finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty punchy. A big, bold breakfast stout.

Cask at Merton Winter Beer Festival. Clear orange gold no real head. Syrupy hoppy tangerine aroma. Almost minty alcohol on the finish. Thanks to Fin

Cask handpull at The Brew Wharf Borough Market. Black beer lasting tan head. Now that is quite an aggressive beer. Big in flavour. I mean Ang threw the kitchen sink at this. It’s an acquired taste. Some chocolate coffee molasses liquorice. It’s definitely arresting. Wow. Not sure I will ever have a beer like this again. Extreme in flavour. But I won’t forget it. Oh and did I need to and that the conditioning was poor.
