A little too hoppy and bitter for a kolsch. Just an okay beer, not overly cleanly made. Not fort point's best effort

Poured from a 12 oz can dated August 03, 2020. Aroma has a balanced blend of hops and malt. Medium light cracker malt notes with hints of caramel. Moderate hop notes of tropical citrus, mango and dank, pine resin notes. Hint of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, brilliant gold with a large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes of tropical citrus, grapefruit and pine resin. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent DIPA. It could use a lot more hop aroma and flavor, but the malt profile is pleasing.
