Bottle 50 cl. Hazy yellow with a dense and creamy white head. Distinct banana and yeast in the nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, banana and yeast. A little phenol in the finish. Nice. 290509

0.5l bottle (9%) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!). Poured an orange body with a big, thick and lasting off white head. Grainy fruity and dusty nose, some light alcohol. The taste is pretty much alcohol with orangey sweet sticky maltiness, slightly cloying but not as much as they can get. Kinda spicy and overall not all that bad.

0.5l bottle (4.8%) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!). Poured a black body with a small tan head. Creamy coffee in the nose, fine. Fine light creamy coffee taste, roasted maltiness, balanced and dryish, slightly tinged with acidity, just enough to be refreshing in a way, ashly, light sweet malty notes, almost no hop. Long roasty aftertaste. Better than most Dry Stouts coming from Ireland. Just lacks a little body.

0.5l bottle (7.5%) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!). Poured a golden body with a medium sized fluffy white head that went away slowly. A fine buttery, slightly spicy nose with notes of rice crackers. Definitely Czech. The taste is more of the same, butter, rice (in a nice way) but hit with waves of sweet malitess and some light alcohol. Some herbal notes too. Prettyy much missing aftertaste and desperately in need of hopiness (just some very light hoppy bitterness) but far from offensive, actually drinkable for the strength.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!). Poured a brownish bronze colour with a persistant white head. Woody and grainy nose, some rice. Sweet and nice. The taste is watery overall but smooth, silky and drinkable. Herbal, somewhat agrumey hopiness, some hoppy bitterness near the end, woody maltienss, hop in the aftertaste. And all went well until some vegetable instant soup notes started to pop up for some reason. Shame, without that and with more body it’d be great.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden coloured hue with floaties and a thick foamy white head. Dusty and slightly sweet, minimal buttery malty nose with herbal spice. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied. Initially malty, slightly buttery and bready taste with a chalky touch; dry-out-effect towards the finish with herbal and slightly woody hoppy notes. Decent Bohemian Pils (11.XI.08).

Cloudy blond color. Sweetish aroma, malt and strong banana. The body is medium-weak, it has very little wheat characteristics, it’s dry and it has a light banana touch. Boring.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts modest fruity, notes of banana, not too yeasty. Finish very mild, a bit floury-dry. Still very drinkable. Good one!
