(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Very dark brown colour with beige, disappearing, head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of chocolate. Malty taste with chocolate, nuts (hazelnut), caramel and toffee. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. A bit sweet, but overall very nice.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small lacing head, quickly diminishing to a small foamy layer; the aroma is a mix of dark sweet malt and toasted malt and an aromatic bitterness; moderate to strong sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; first toasted malty, then bitter-sweet lingering finish. An interesting brew, that combines quite well the qualties of a Dunkel and a Bohemian Pils (Polotmavy means "half-dark"). Nice....

Bottled (BB 07/2007). Very dark ruby color, decent tan head. Dark malts, licorice, fruity notes and lgiht alcohol in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Very sugary sweet, almost cloying sweet. Warming alcoholic palate. Some fruity and coffee notes. Quite good mouthfeel, just way too sweet - I wonder what happens after eg. five years of ageing.

Bottled. Dark rubyish brown colour with small brown head while pouring, but then disappears fast. Sparkling. A lot. Aroma of slight roast, alcohol, licorace and coffee. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, toffee and slightly roasted malts. Scary, the alcohol is not noted in the flavour almost at all. Slightly fruitish hints also noteable.

An orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet malty but also with a note of hops. The flavor is sweet malty, but also with a touch of wheat - I wonder where that comes from, and a dry end. The body is thin.

Bottled 0,5l. Ruby red color. A disappearing head. Sweet aroma, sweet malty flavor and sweet bitterness in the aftertaste. Re-rate 28 Aug 09: Probably the same beer labeled Primátor Premium Dark bought at Systembolaget in Kiruna, Sweden. Additional comments: Some caramel in the aroma. Notes of coffee & chocolate in the flavor. Old rating: 3 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 10
