Bottle 33 cl - Batch BB0723 (BB: 12/2024) AROMA: initial low metallic note. medium-low roasted malt with a black coffee character and a background sweetness and nuttiness. APPEARANCE: very dark black color and opaque um ruby highlights. medium-low light brown head with low retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: initial medium black coffee-and-cream malt flavor with medium-low nuttiness, followed by a medium-high roasted and burnt character that overwhelms the initial notes. slight metallic note. medium bitterness with a dry and burnt finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with a slight velvety texture. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an oatmeal stout with formulation errors leading it to be overly roasted.

Draught at Bådin Beer Fest 2024. Off-white head over a misty orange-brownish body, laces well. Moderate smell of mid-sweet malts, semi-dry. Decent taste profile of brown malts joined by herbal hops, doughy. Soft, mid-sweet malty tail. Quite alright. (Bodø, 01.06.2024).

Draught at Bådin Beer Fest 2024. Next-to-clear brownish body, poor lacing, naked at the surface. Moderate caramel-fruity aromas. Mixed taste of slightly tart citric fruits and caramel malts. Lightly roasted caramel malty ending, with mild tartness to it. Pretty okay. (Bodø, 01.06.2024).

Draught at Bådin Beer Fest 2024. Hazy golden body, tiny white head, scattered lacing. Moderate smell of mid-sweet fruit, mid-dry. Blended taste of slightly tart citrus fruits, joined by a touch of banana, and offset by mid-sweet malts. Rounded ending, on the sweet side of tart and sweet. Decent. (Bodø, 01.06.2024).
