Keg at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto, 27/10/22. Hazed orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is tangy passionfruit, sharp melon, hedgerow, light funk. Taste comprises straw, grains, pissy passionfruit, guava, lychee, light salt kiss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Decent refresher.

Bottle 33 cl - Batch WS0224 (BB: 03/2025) AROMA: medium estery aroma with notes of oranges, lemony and slight vanilla. faint cereal husk and sulphur in the background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and cristal clear. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: initial medium esters (oranges) followed by low sulphur and yeast. neutral malt background with slight sweetness. medium bitterness with a dry and slightly yeasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an average saison-like beer with some fermentation imperfections.

APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and clear. low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-high rosemary flavor. honey not detected. medium-low to low yeast flavor. faint neutral malt in the background. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry and yeasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a beer with added rosemary and honey unbalanced to the rosemary.

AROMA: medium-high raspberry aroma with a clean lactic sourness of medium intensity. faint neutral mal background. APPEARANCE: slight reddish amber color and clear. medium-high slight pink head with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-low raspberry notes, slight yeast. low malt flavor, on the neutral side. low bitterness with a dry and slightly salty and yeasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a raspberry gose with nice aromas but with some odd flavor notes.

TASTE: initial medium-high acidic flavor with barnyard notes. perceived medium-high bitterness with a overly dry and sharp finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body. medium carbonation. slight astringency. alcohol warmth present. OVERALL: a gose with added fruit with what seems wild yeast contamination. A bit on the boozy side too.

TASTE: initial medium to medium-high light caramel and sourness. low bitterness with a semi-dry finish with notes of caramel. light saltiness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok Gose with added caramel. It would benefit from a more present salty character.
